Deciphering Me.

Well this New year was some kind of poetic season for me...reading books, listening to Brooke Fraser's Songs was such a good time and relaxing for me...anyway here are the few lines extracted from my favorite songs, books I have read, at the television or anywhere else...

"Forgiveness is God's Greatest Gift..."
-The Da Vinci Code Dan Brown

"In that day, they will say, "Surely. This is Our God."
-Isaiah 26.6 [NIV]

"In the end, it mattered not that you could not close your mind. It was your heart that saved you."
-Albus Dumbledore [Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix]-J.K Rowling

"Faith - Acceptance of which we imagine to be true, that which we cannot prove."
— Dan Brown (The Da Vinci Code)

"Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer."
— Dan Brown (Digital Fortress)

"Science and religion are not at odds. Science is simply too young to understand."
— Dan Brown (Angels & Demons)

"the difference between a rebel and a patriot depends upon who is in power at the moment."
— Sidney Sheldon (The Sands of Time)

"Nobody Likes a Cranky Grocer"
-Brooke Fraser

"We are more than dust...that means something"
-Brooke Fraser [Hosea's Wife"]

"Change isn't eaisy.Changing the way you live means changing the way you think, means changing what you believe about life. That's hard."
— Dean Koontz (One Door Away from Heaven)

"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by frost."
— J.R.R. Tolkien (The Fellowship of the Ring)

"It's hard to have anything isn't it? Rare to get it, hard to keep it. This is a damn slippery planet."
— Thomas Harris (Red Dragon)

""What the hell makes you so smart?" I asked. "I wouldn't go for coffee with you, " she answered. "Listen -- I wouldn't ask you." "That, "she replied "is what makes you stupid.""
— Erich Segal (Love Story)

"Read. Read. Read. Just don't read one type of book. Read different books by various authors so that you develop different style."
— R.L. Stine

“How normally you can live is not determined by the degree of the disability but by how much support you have around you.”
- Keiko Tobe [With The Light]

"What is History, a fable agreed upon?"
-Napoleon Bonaparte

""My heart’s quest is that as God’s eyes search the earth, He would find me to be an extravagant worshipper. I pray this book not only finds itself in your hands, but that it finds itself planted in your heart."
- Darlene Zschech

"I loved that word! When I grew older, I used kira-kira to describe everything I liked: the beautiful blue sky, puppies, kittens, butterflies, colored Kleenex. My mother said we were misusing the word; you could not call a Kleenex kira-kira. She was dismayed over how un-Japanese we were..." Chapter 1, pgs. 1-2
- Kira Kira by Cynthia Kadohata [Never fully read the book yet but hoping I could find a copy of it....]

There are still many books I have read....but it would be too many if i post it all...so I hope you have a great time reading the quotes I have posted....

Happy New Year...
